I know he was. But recently he’s called marriage equality “an ominous threat” to society. Archbishop Dolan shutting up about it today doesn’t mean he no longer believes what he says.
And as for “services” vs. Mass — I’m the kind of Catholic who calls them “services.” Doesn’t matter anyway, since I’m for marriage equality, which probably means I’m going to Hell. With a capital H.
