Interesting fact: In 1963 the first infomercial (by Ron Popeil of RonCo) was filmed in Tampa, FL. The same place where Billy Mays lived, and also died. ShamWow guy however, no relation.

Awesome! The more you know. And, the first time I saw Ron Popeil on TV was for the rotisserie thing. The second time - I think - was for the spray-on hair. Both times, dude freaked my shit OUT. And yes, I’ve said Richard Karn could play Billy Mays. :-)
